Forbearance pressure. One of the areas we are helping homeowners with. Get the payments under control.
We have seven initial suggestions (depending on your circumstances) for homeowners who may be having a problem with their lender regarding forbearance repayment:
1- Contact your lender and tell them about your problem. State that you are requesting that your forbearance payments be put to the end of your loan as is encouraged by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.
2- Collect copies of all letters and coupons from the lender and get ready for possible later use.
3- Get first and last names of each rep you speak with, record with date and time of call and agreed upon next action.
