✅Mr. Henley uses HELOC money strategy to beat insurance company delays!
Sadly, Mr. Henley’s hillside rental home was damaged by the windstorms earlier this year. His insurance company has been DELAYING for months the claims process in a disagreement on how much money should be paid out.
Mr. Henley still does not have the insurance claim funds payment to do the repairs to his property.
After consulting with our team, his Claims Adjuster and his Financial Planner, he has decided to obtain a HELOC loan to fund the repairs and also do some ADDITIONAL improvements.
This strategy does not work in all cases, but with Mr. Henley’s situation and what additional new work he wants done, the HELOC money will get his property finished faster and ready to rent.
Meanwhile, he can continue to negotiate on the insurance claim, which will take many more months to resolve. After resolution, he can use those insurance funds to PAY DOWN the HELOC.
Mr. Henley is happy to be BEATING the delay and fitting in some additional improvement work.
